Aphasia Support Leeds

Aphasia Support is a registered charity supporting people with aphasia and their carers across Leeds. We work closely with individuals, families and communities in Leeds to ensure people with aphasia can access the support they need and communicate with confidence. Everything we do is focused on improving wellbeing, through free, tailored speech and language therapy and long-term support that helps people with aphasia in Leeds rebuild confidence, independence and quality of life.

About Us
  • Our Work in Leeds

Between April 2024 and March 2025, Aphasia Support delivered essential support across Leeds. We provided one-to-one speech and language therapy through home and online visits, loaned iPads with bespoke therapy apps, and delivered community sessions across Yorkshire. People with aphasia in Leeds received long-term support, made possible by trained volunteers working with one-to-one clients, Aphasia Café attendees and carers.
