Aphasia Support Launches in Rugby

Aphasia Support Launches in Rugby

We’re excited to announce that Aphasia Support is launching a brand-new Aphasia Café in Rugby!

Our charity's Warwickshire branch has been championed by local residents, for local residents. Over the past year, the community has come together to provide feedback, share their experience and fundraise to help shape this vital support.

From spring, free group sessions will offered on a regular basis to fill a much-needed gap in support for people living with aphasia and their families in the area. The charity's Aphasia Cafe will be led by a Speech & Language Therapist, and will be centred around creating a safe and understanding space where people can develop their communication skills with confidence, form meaningful connections, and enjoy life to the fullest.

To celebrate the launch, we’re hosting an Information Event for local residents and referral partners:

📅 Date: Wednesday 4th March 2026
⏰ Time: 13:00 – 14:00
📍 Location: Willoughby Village Hall, CV23 8BH
✅ RSVP by: Monday 2nd March

Whether you’re living with aphasia, supporting someone who is, or work with local health and social care services, come along to find out more about our charity, meet our team, and learn how you can get involved. We hope to see you there!

To RSVP, simply email info@aphasiasupport.org or call us on 0300 102 3500 by Monday 2nd March 2026.
