We are thrilled to announce that £21,765 has been raised through Aphasia Support's recent iPad Appeal.
The generosity we have received has enabled us to purchase 60 specialist iPads, all pre-loaded with cutting-edge speech and language therapy apps. These iPads allow our charity's qualified therapists and fully-trained volunteers to deliver free one-to-one support in people’s homes across Yorkshire. This technology, paired with expert support, empowers people with aphasia to rebuild their communication skills, regain confidence, and reconnect with the world around them.
A special thank you
Please join us in extending our sincerest thanks to everyone involved in the success of our iPad appeal. The total raised includes generous contributions from:
- The Access Foundation - £15,000
- The Clothworkers Foundation - £6,000
- Public Donations - £765

How your support makes a difference
Thanks to the iPads purchased through this appeal, more people are now able to access personalised one-to-one therapy across Yorkshire - utilising the charity's iPad loan scheme to practice daily and make real progress in rebuilding their communication skills.
Thank you once again to The Access Foundation, The Clothworkers Foundation, and everyone who kindly donated to our appeal. We couldn’t be more grateful for the difference you have made - a difference that will continue to touch the lives of people with Aphasia for years to come.
