Abseil: Wakefield Cathedral

Are you ready to face your fears, make memories, and make a difference? Take on the BIG charity abseil for Aphasia Support! 

You’ll be abseiling down the iconic 164-foot cathedral tower with a fully trained and experienced team guiding you every step of the way. No prior experience is necessary – just courage and enthusiasm!

We kindly ask participants to raise a minimum of £180 in aid of Aphasia Support. Your fantastic fundraising efforts could pay for the provision of funding an Aphasia Café session leader to run a meeting at two of our nine locations across Yorkshire, bringing people together with shared experiences to access long-term support.

The minimum age to enter is 13 years or older on the day of the event. There is no maximum age limit, however you are required to be in a good state of health and able to climb the tower stairs in order to reach the platform.
